Description

Circa 1900, William Constable. Single-storey and attic

terrace, outer and every eighth bay gabled 2-storey

with full-height canted windows. Red ashlar, brick

return and rear walls. 2-leaf panelled doors arranged

in pairs except No 53, windows at ground bipartite with

canted window centrally placed between 2-storey bays.

1 and 2-light dormer windows under gables. All windows

with plate glass lower sash, originally multi-pane

upper. All gables with timber king-post detail, 2

storey gabled bays with pierced barge-boards. Slate

roofs swept over single storey section, red tile ridges.
